Sau Seng Lum 修成林佛教寺院
This is a Chinese temple located in the Old Town of Petaling Jaya.
On 16 August 2023, first day of the Hungry Ghost Festival, I followed Agnes and Natalie to the Sau Seng Lum Buddhist Temple in Old Town Petaling Jaya.
Uncle Wu died in 2011 and his spirit tablet is here in this temple. So we came here to visit him and a few other relatives and to purchase food for them.
My first ever experience on the Hungry Ghost Festival which I felt very meaningful.

7th Lunar Month Ullambana Festival
Celebrated on the 15th day of the 7th Lunar month. The 7th lunar month is important for merit accumulation dedicated to parents and ancestors.
Known as Buddha’s Joyful Day or Sangha Day. Celebrating Buddha’s teachings in filiel piety.
