Taufufah (Soybean Pudding) in Chicken Soup @ Xinchang Ancient Town, Pudong, China.
First tasted it in April 2021. Fell totally in love with it. This lil water village a far from where we lived in Shanghai. Needed a metro ride and a bus ride to reach it. A good 2 hour one way commute!
Yet, we managed to visit this village 3 times, mainly because of this dish.
Today, I recreated it!!!
Back in Xinchang Ancient Town…this was the famous stall there. The queue to eat at this stall was always loooooooong!
