Rose Chillies or Chrismas Bell Chillies
Found these chillies at the Rose Valley in Cameron Highlands. They are funky looking! Looked like chubby spaceships to me. What do they look like to you?
Apparently it is a mild kind of chilli peppers, kinda like a spiced capsicum but with an aroma of paprika. Some say the are sweet and fruity. Unfortunately, there were none for sale at the Rose Valley or I would be glad to give it a try and tell you what they taste like to me. However, if they are indeed mild spicy, they would be great with salads!
These chilli peppers are also known as Bishop Crown Chillies because they look like the Bishop's or Cardinal's hat in the medieval days.
