Shanghai - Kerry Parkside - Singapore Kitchen

Singapore Kitchen

Such a beautiful little restaurant located in the Kerry Parkside Mall, Pudong. I was very excited to have found a Singapore restaurant, a near-to-home cuisine. I so wanted to enjoy some good ole Hainanese Chicken Rice and was PRAYING that it was tasty enough. Looking at the menu was thrilling enough. I wanted to order everything!

Pretty soon, I gradually became disappointed. I observed the staff serving the dishes and they seemed to be panicking; no organization at all. Our Kangkung arrived and was sitting there for a good 20 minutes. We had to ask and ask what happened to our other dishes and then Chicken arrived. Then rice came. We ate until almost done and had to stop to wait for the Tofu and Satay. By this time, good mood had disappeared. This is not a new restaurant. How is it that the kitchen is not organized by now?

Kangkung belacan arrived and sat on our table for a good 20 minutes!

Hainanese Chicken Rice arrived after Kangkung has gotten cold!

Had to stop eating at this point in time to wait for another 15 minutes for the other dishes
Corn came as a freebie, suddenly!

Satay slowly found its way to our table!

By the time the deep fried tofu arrived, our good mood was gone. Appetite disappeared too!

Food here is actually pretty good. Kitchen and servers need to buck up and improve!
