Shanghai - Century Park - Chao Fu Guan

Chao Fu Guan (ShiJi Gong Yuan)

This beautiful restaurant is located in Century Park, Pudong. It is a Cantonese restaurant but they serve Teochew dishes as well. Nevertheless, we dropped by for a quick dim sum lunch and we were impressed with the food. They were preparing for a wedding dinner that night, so we were ushered into room which was done up temporarily for walk-in patrons. No problem for us as the staff was nice and helpful.

Tea
Zhanjiang sliced chicken

Red Peach which I know it as Teochew Png Kueh. I almost had a heart attack when this cake arrived on our table. Why fry it? Good Lord. It is good to eat this cake when it is freshly made. This is our first time eating it fried!

Steamed chicken feet

Shrimp dumplings in soup - tasty. Hong Kong style.

Steamed beef balls - very good. Loved the water chestnuts in it.
