North Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone Metro Station
It was a pretty long ride, about 1.5 hours from Pudong. In all our adventures, our biggest challenge when we reach a particular metro station if to find our destination. This was one of our biggest challenges in this trip. Our destination was Holland Village. However, as we walked on and asked for directions, we found ourselves walking past the Gaoqiao Old Town first before we found Holland Village.
So this was how our walk went!
We got off the metro station and walked down the stairs. We turned right at the gate and came to a junction by a canal. We walked along the canal and surprisingly, found ourselves in a park.
A clean and beautiful park by the canal. Old folks were dancing together and just having fun together. Doggies were taking their walks. Children were enjoying the sunshine.

Gaoqiao East Street
Gaoqiao Old Town is believed to have started since the Southern Song Dynasty. It was not crowded with tourists; just families living their daily lives. Lots of cute doggies taking their walks!
