Fuxing Park 复兴公园
Located in the former French Concession of Shanghai, this was once a private park during the Ming Dynasty. It was reopened during the French Concession era in 1909. Entrance is free. This park was designed with French and Chinese styles. It is 25 acres of flowerbeds, old trees, a rose garden and a statue square. Lovely to walk around and especially this time, enjoy the Autumn foliage.

Statue Square
Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels
Built in 1985 and this statue is 70 tons. It was built to commemorate the 90th anniversary of Engels' death. There were German philosophers and close friends who published "The Communist Manifesto" which attempted to explain the goals of communism. It argues that class struggles are the motivating force behind all historical developments.

Autumn Love
For a long time, I have waited
Finally capturing and noticing
Every color
Every leave
Every change
Green, yellow, orange, gold
Dreamy as colors warm my heart
Magic as colors appear messy and gorgeous;
a fusion of potpourri
Just like our lives;
ups and downs, rise and falls
Well, Mother Nature is here to remind us
Stress not, but
let go, move, grow, heal.
