The Normandie Apartments of Shanghai's Former French Concession
It is located at a unique 5-way junction in the middle of Shanghai. It is at the junctions of Tianping Road, Yuqing Road, Xingguo Road, Wukang Road, and Huaihai Middle Road. This building used to house business people from foreign companies. Designed by Laszlo Hudec @ Wu Dake 鄔達克 , a active Hungarian Slovak architect in Shanghai.
Wukang Mansion is a 8-storey French Renaissance style building, the oldest apartment building in Shanghai with verandahs. It became a renowned residence for actors and actresses from the China's film industry in the 1940s.
