We are at the intersection on Wulumuqi Road. Turn left or right?
This was all about Prada!
I read that the Feels like Prada campaign had kicked off in Milan. It has covered buildings with its Fall / Winter patterns and taken over a bakery, providing wrappings for bread. croissants and even pizza!
I read about Prada coming to Shanghai especially for its National Day week holiday; will be at Wuzhong Market until October 10th. So I read up on how to get there via metro. Walla...there IS a metro nearby!
Line 7 to Changshu Road metro station and about 10 mins walk to the market. When we reached this intersection, we turned right and the Wuzhong Prada Market was on our right.
What a happening sight!
Holy humans... people were everywhere. People were taking photographs at every corner - by the stalls, by the window, with the vegetables...
No wonder the market sellers were annoyed.
In addition, I have never seen soooooooooooo many people buying flowers just for the Prada wrapping paper. Goodness gracious.
Top floor of the market were for seafood and meat. I was expecting to see Prada wrappings around the prawns or fish!!! Nope.
Ground floor were for vegetables, fruits and flowers.
Lasted a good 10 mins at the market! Bought some asparagus, tomatoes and bitter gourds.
Off to the diner for breakfast.
Eggs benedict for breakfast
