Jinli Ancient Street, Chengdu
锦里古街 Jǐn lǐ gǔ jiē
Jinli Pedestrian Street
The FIRST street of Shu Kingdom. The Shu Kingdom was an ancient state which is now Sichuan Province; under the Qin Dynasty (221 - 206 BC).
Supports the culture of The Three Kingdom Period
We had the opportunity to spend the last couple of hours here at Jinli before we head to the airport. It was ancient yet modern; there were a good variety of restaurants offering opera performances with a drink or a meal, which was interesting. Wish we had more time to explore. Nevertheless, it was an exciting visit. There were many snack stalls, art and clothing boutiques, and interesting stalls along the street itself.
