Welcome to The Touch City located in Durian Tunggal, Melaka. This is a 23-acre Chinese Cultural Park. Entrance fee is RM39 for adults, RM20 for seniors and free for shorty tots. This park is only open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Durian Tunggal is about 30 minutes away from downtown Melaka.
These heavy RED Tiananmen Square doors were the first to catch my eye the first time I drove passed this park a few months ago. Finally had the chance to check this place out.
The entrance are lined up with beautifully painted tiles of Chinese fables, all featuring about honoring your parents and obedience.

The Harmonious Mean, a doctrine adapted by Confucious, to combine the philosophies of Ruism, Buddhism and Taoism, which leads to amiability, geniality, modesty, kindness and harmony.
The Green Dragon. Malaysia is believed to be under the protection of the East Sea dragon. This dragon brings wealth and peace.

Colossal Gourd. Represents prosperity. Another Chinese belief is that a gourd could chase off demons and ghosts.
Longevity Hall
The photo above is a Chinese character which represents the Heart. When you walk around this side of the park, it would signify a spiritual journey, where it is hoped that people would appreciate mankind and nature. It reminds people that the Heart, no matter good or bad, contributes to the growth of mankind.
Wishes were written on a ribbon and tied to a branch.

The 10 disciplines of Buddha
Blue Dragon Pavillion. The blue dragon is believed to be the protector of Buddha's treasures.
A Tibetan styled Buddhist Stupa's Monument.

Awesome sanctuary. The birds were not afraid of humans. They gladly ate out of our palms.
We had a blast with the birds, peacocks, and rabbits.

Mun Restaurant. An air-conditioned fine-dining place. Vegetarian. Serves VERY reasonably priced food. Dishes were decorated daintily. Tasty too!

End of the park tour. Fascinated with the creativity and effort to maintain the park. There are beautiful sculptures here and a really fantastic place for photography. Their Mun Restaurant is at their finest. Even though I am not much of a vegetarian person but I truly enjoyed my meal at the fine-dining restaurant. Worth a visit.
