This is Mentakab, a town in Temerloh, Pahang. Formerly known as Pasir Rawa.
Walking towards the railway lines
Mentakab railway station. This station is one of the major railway stations of KTM's (Keretapi Tanah Melayu) East Coast Line.
The famous iron bridge.
This railway bridge is sitting across the Semantan River, atop the original bridge that was destroyed in World War II. The original bridge was destroyed by the British to deny passage to the Japanese.
The railway station still lives!!!
