Bukit Tinggi - Berjaya Hills

Bukit Tinggi, Pahang is a pretty interesting lil place. I have been here thrice now, over a period of three years and the place seemed to be improving a little in terms of having more restaurants but maintenance is mediocre. Today, there is no electricity in most of the restaurants = coffee machine could not work = Jo was grumpy!
Bukit Tinggi
This is Colmar Tropicale in Bukit Tinggi, a french themed village. Good for photography but nothing special here. There is a tower for visitors to climb out for a good breeze and a pretty view.

Take a short drive up the hill and here is the Japanese Village and Garden. Lots of walking to do. Garden is quite well maintained. Plenty of Dusky Leaf monkeys around. There is a Japanese spa here, a restaurant and also a chance for visitors to try on the kimono.
This moss covered patch reminds me of Hobbit Land!

Dusky leaf monkeys have white colored circles around their eyes which make them totally adorable. They are a highly active bunch in the daytime. They love tall trees and feed on young leaves, flowers, fruits and seedlings.
