Shanghai - Nanhui Peach Blossom Village

This is Huinan Station, Line 16. When you reach this metro station, you'd know that you have arrived at the correct metro station. Look at the beautiful pillars with the peach blossom art!

Take Bus No. 55 from Nanzhu Road to Gongbei Road (2 stops)

Nanhui Peach Blossom Village

Shanghai Nanhui Taohua Village 上海南汇桃花村

This is really a park whereby you can see rows and rows of peach blossoms, plum blossoms, pear blossoms and other flowers too. It was disappointing to see that this beautiful place was not well maintained. There's rubbish everywhere. No restaurants. No food stalls. We were lucky that we found a small dumpling stall operating on the day we were there.

Grass were tall and unkempt. Statue's color has faded.

Children's playground

Chickens and Duckies

River running through the park

Teahouse.
No food nor tea was being sold here.
There were tables and benches for visitors to sit down and rest.
Weird! Such a beautiful building.

Look at the dirty pond!

A beautiful Wisteria rooftop but very untidy

The Star God of Longevity "Shou"

Shou Xing @ Old Man of the South Pole. He is one of the famous 3-stellar gods (in Chinese mythology) named Fook Luk Shou. He is always holding a Peach of Immortality as he is believed to control the life span of mortals.
Restaurant, supposedly, but empty and looked abandoned for a long time.

Dirty river

Peach blossom steamed cakes
