This is the fabric that is famously known in Xinchang. Many stores were selling this fabric and clothing as well. We chose a small store to visit and had a good chat with the young woman there. Her family is in the textile business and she shared with us how this fabric was traditionally made. They manually spinned, weaved, dyed and embroidered on the cotton fabric to make clothes and daily supplies. Amazing!
