"Luogushu, boasting a history of around 1800 years, was initially a production of Chinese ancient witch culture originally called Taibu or Taibao. In remote antiquity, human intended to ask favors from gods due to their relative incompetence in front of Nature. Since the Qing Dynasty, Taibaoshu has begun to appear in teahouse and other performing stages in South China, and gradually developed into a folk art form."
Luogushu
This musical instrument is something like a hand drum. Formerly known as Taibaoshu, an activity for praying for peace in rural areas in China. Some folks also use this drum to sing stories to the community. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, it was named as Gonggushu.
