This is one entry into the ancient town
Also known as Xin Yan Chang which means New Salt Place. This old town used to be for salt production. Merchants and salt traders used to assembled here and as business grew, Xinchang prospered. In addition, this town is famously known in an Ang Lee's movie named Lust, Caution (2007).
Let's stroll along this Hongqiao Ancient Street.
