He Xi Yuan
I believe this ancient mansion or villa used to belong to a family of noble rank. The house is very elegantly decorated. The garden is exquisite.
This place is located in Zhujiajiao Water Town, just before the famous Kezhi Garden. Entrance fee is 20Yuan. Surprisingly, there were not many visitors here as all were more focused to visit the Kezhi Garden. Not much information can be found about this place either, which is sad. This mansion seemed to be bursting with stories. Apparently, it was bought over by a private collector a decade ago. The mansion is very well maintained. It houses a lot of antiques. Tang dynasty sculptures. In the center of its garden sits the Twin Pagoda from Sichuan.

There is a caretaker living here. Thank goodness for him as the place looked immaculate.

Imagine this is your family mansion!
