Shanghai Old Street 上海老街

This is an old city area of Shanghai. It is also known as the "Little Eastern Gate".

It is an old business street where the earliest banks, goldsmith shops, theatres, wine shops and tea shops were all found here. Today this road is a tourist attraction where about 200 shops can be found on both sides of the road, selling antiques, jewelry, souvenirs, snacks, clothing, knick knacks, and toys; some beautifully decorated and some remained in their original design.

I loved watching these 2 old folks on their bike. They were slowly cruising by the side of the road, looking at the shops!
