Suzhou - PINGJIANG Historical Quarters

Pingjiang Historical Quarters, Suzhou

Covering almost 117 hectares, this place is also known as the Old Town of Suzhou.
The city of Suzhou was known as Pingjiang in the South Song Dynasty (1127 - 1279).  On the map of ancient Suzhou, in the South Song Dynasty, Pingjiang Road was regarded as one of the main routes.  This historical quarters is the largest and the most protected area in Suzhou. There are 18 stone bridges in this historical quarters, in addition to historical buildings, cultural properties, museums, and a couple of famous gardens are within walking distance. It is really a food and shopping haven and at night, it is really charming.
After we got off the metro, we stopped at this little corner to have breakfast.
Walking along the street towards Pingjiang Road, it was fascinating to see bikes with coats!
This is a school. Imagine this is your school!
