Hot Mama's Little Kitchen
This dainty little shop in a small alley attracted my eye and Hubs wanted so much to try the Suzhou wantan soup. We were walking so much around the Pingjiang Historical Quarters; we just needed an excuse to sit down. Anyways we were warmly welcomed by the lady boss. She was a cheerful soul. She prepared the wantan soup, then sat down and starting chatting with us. We talked about life and business at Pingjiang. We talked about the Suzhou language and how youngsters are not using it as much as the older generation. She had a tough time guessing where we are from!
