This lodge is on the mainland, about a 5 to 10 minute drive to downtown. A place where one can rent a cabin or just drive your camper to stay a night. Plenty of space provided for campers. It is a nice lodge but I would prefer to stay downtown. More convenient to shops and tour meeting places.
The cabin that we rented was the Explorer Cabin, said to fit 4 people. No way! Toooo small. We 3 could hardly walk in there. Perfect for 2 though. Balcony at the back. Porch in front. It was a cute little cabin.
Gotta walk to breakfast. Breakfast was held in the reception building. I didn’t find the people that friendly but they were helpful. Breakfast was nice with a great coffee and juice machine. The lady that manned the breakfast was always in a bad mood. The man however was a jovial one.
The Aurora surprised us on our last 2 nights at the lodge. The Green Lady actually appeared above our cabin! She was beautiful.
