Tromso
A city located on the island of Tromsoya. Reachable via Tromso Bridge across the Tromsoysundata Strait from the mainland. A city of about 78 000 people only.
Known as the Gate to the Arctic. Famous for seeing the spectacular Aurora Borealis. People know them as the Northern Lights. It’s because Tromso is perfectly located under the auroral circle.
A North Norway city. More north than Iceland and Canada. A true Arctic place.

Yes, it seems like a little town. But, it’s full of surprises. I was just sad we didn’t have an extra day to just walk through the whole town and visit the museums there. It is a very walkable town, just ignore the snow!
I also didn’t get a chance to look up on their restaurants. Not many Asian restaurants. Mainly Japanese. I guess because fish like salmon can be purchased freshly. On my last day there, I saw a Shanghai Wok.
