Being stuck in KLIA for extra 2 hours was no fun. Flight was delayed from 10AM to 12PM. First time, Batik Air disappointed me! Thank goodness there’s good restaurants now there. So we hung out at Kitchen and Starbucks.

Finally, landing in Hanoi at 2.30PM hanoi time (Msia time 3.30PM)
Then, couldn’t find our driver at Pillar 10. Called hotel and they had messed up. Had to wait another 30 mins for the driver to arrive. 😡
Arrived hotel at 4ish PM. Extremely grumpy by this time 🤣
Day 1 - 4 December 2023
It was a long day. This was Hanoi at 4ish PM. We dumped our bags in the room and came out immediately. So much time wasted today. No rain. Very gloomy. Weather was cool about 17C degrees. Nice. Needed food immediately!
Hotel staff was good. Very helpful and friendly. Got the day trips planned and out of the way. Can eat in peace now and enjoy Hanoi in our own sweet time. Directed me to good food. No michelin nonsense. I wanted good ole local food.
