Founded in 1836, Restaurant 7 Portes is one of the oldest restaurants in Barcelona. It is named after the 7 doors which guard its entrance. 7 Portes is known to be one of the best seafood and paella restaurants in Barcelona; famous for its seasonal rice dishes, traditional paellas and Catalan cuisine. It is a romantic and classy restaurant.
We loved the ambience of this restaurant. It has elegant and charming decor with large mirrors and chandeliers. Staff were professional and formal.
We were excited to order authentic paella from a Spanish restaurant so we went for the seafood paella. When it came, we all looked at each other and burst out in laughter. It was giant in size! But, it was gooooooood. We greedy piggies cleaned the pan AND still had dessert!
