Cathedral of the Holy Cross and Saint EulaliaThis cathedral has been a worship place since the times of Roman Bàrcino. Barcelona started as a Roman city called Barcino, founded by Emperor Augustus in the 1st century.
This Gothic cathedral is dedicated to the Martyr Santa Eulàlia, a patron saint of Barcelona. She was tortured to death in the late Roman times and she was buried under the main altar in this cathedral.

Right under the bell tower, this organ was built in the 16th century and the windchest covers are decorated with grisailles by Pedro Pablo Serafin "The Greek".
