Tablao Flamenco Cordobes

The place to go is La Rambla. Tablao Cordobes is where you can find an authentic flamenco show. In Spanish, tablao means platform or floorboard exclusively dedicated to flamenco shows. Tablao Cordobes was founded in 1970 by an artist family, Luis and Irene Adame, and it became a Catalan Institution. Today, their daughter carries on the family tradition.
The entrance

The show was fabulous but I did not enjoy the environment. It was cramped and stuffy. We were seated in rows but it was difficult to watch with heads towering over mine. I was far from the stage too so I could not take good pictures of the dancers or the musicians. Not a very happy camper. I was quite eager for the night to end pronto. If there is a chance to watch a flamenco performance again, I would prefer to be in a theatre setting or at least a place where one can watch the performance comfortably.

Btw, here are some good photos from the Internet from Tablao Flamenco Cordobes.
